Originally from Orlando, Florida and attended The University of Southern Mississippi for her B.A. degree in Psychology. She then graduated in 1998 from The University of Central Florida with a M.A. in Student Personnel and in 2007 with her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She has worked in the student development field since 1999.
Dr. Germayne Graham has been with the university since 2001. Dr. Graham joined LEAD Scholars in July, 2007 and was most recently a psychologist with the Counseling Center.
DeeDee received her B.S. degree in Business Management from UCF in 2004 and completed a M.A. in Career and Technical Education in 2012. She has worked at the university since 1995 and has been with LEAD Scholars for the past twelve years.
Tava has been at UCF since 2010. She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her B.A. in Women's and Gender Studies and B.S. in Communication Studies. She received her M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. Within the LEAD Scholars Academy, Tava serves as the program coordinator for the Lead Out Loud Multicultural Leadership program and the Inspire Women's Leadership program.
An Ohio native, Mike received a dual B.A. degree in Spanish and Linguistics from Ohio University. Mike graduated in 2016 from Colorado State University with a M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education, and has worked in student leadership development since 2014. Mike serves as the Coordinator for the 3rd and 4th year leadership tracks, overseeing the Civic Engagement, Clinton Global Initiative University, and Undergraduate Research tracks.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Whitney attended The Florida State University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Leadership Studies. She then graduated in 2011 from Indiana University with an M.S.Ed in Higher Education Administration. She has over three years of professional experience in Student Affairs and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Higher Education and Policy Studies here at the University of Central Florida. Whitney serves as the Graduate Teaching Assistant for the LEAD Scholars Academy.
